M. Sc. Ole Hill graduated in Nanotechnology at Leibniz Universität Hannover with a thesis on the “Design and Construction of a Flow Cell for in Vivo Raman Micro Spectroscopy and Multi Photon Microscopy”. For his doctoral project within the School for Additive Manufacturing, Mr. Hill will work on the “Non-destructive optical characterization of microoptical systems”, guided by PD Dr. Merve Wollweber at Laser Zentrum Hannover e. V.
With a master’s thesis on the “Development and characterization of a hull-core-strategy for the selective laser melting of magnesium alloys”, M. Sc. Tim Heitkamp graduated in Mechanical Engineering at LUH. His research for his SAM project will focus on “Five-axis Adaptive Manufacturing of Fiber-reinforced Plastic Components”. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Günter Klawitter and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Nils Waldt are Mr. Heitkamp’s supervisors at Hochschule Hannover.
M. Sc. Maximilian Grafe completed his studies of Mechanical Engineering at LUH with a master’s thesis on the “Development of an automated laser process for the use of microwires in additive manufacturing”. His research within SAM will focus on “Atomic Layer Deposition for conformal surface functionalization of parts produced by additive manufacturing”, supervised by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Stefan Kaierle at Laser Zentrum Hannover e. V.
