Automatic flame soldering machine

The flame soldering process is a fast atmospheric soldering process using localized heating. The automatic flame soldering machine from Everwand&Fell, which is operated at the institute in the FORTIS department, consists of a PLC-controlled 6-flame torch device with an integrated, pneumatically controlled sliding table as a workpiece carrier. It is suitable for soldering bulky components, for the production of very small series or for the manufacture of prototypes under near-series conditions. Components made of aluminum, copper and steel alloys can be joined at brazing temperatures of up to around 900°C.
