Climate chamber C-70/600 and light climate test chamber CL-60/3500

The CTS climate testing devices available at the IW enable customized climate tests in addition to standard tests. Specific climatic conditions can be mapped, such as the “Hanover” climate program, which was developed on the basis of average weather conditions for component testing. With such programs, it is possible to carry out climate tests in an accelerated procedure compared to outdoor weathering tests.

Description of the system

The C-70/600 climatic chamber allows materials, coatings or even entire components to be tested using climatic tests in order to analyze the effects of temperature and humidity changes on function and/or material properties. In the CL-60/3500 light climate test chamber, it is also possible to realize loads using sunlight simulators. In addition to conventional standard tests from the automotive industry, test cycles adapted to individual requirements can also be run in both test devices by programming different test cycles. The specimen geometry can be very different and is primarily limited only by the test space volume of the respective system.
