High current impulse system

A specially developed high-current pulse system enables metallic samples to be treated with electrical current pulses while they are being formed. By introducing pulses with a current strength of up to 10 kA, material softening can be observed, which facilitates the forming of metallic materials. The high-current pulse system is adapted to existing testing machines. This allows flow curves to be recorded and softening processes to be evaluated.
