Test tank with automatic stick electrode welding machine

At UWTH, there is a basin for underwater welding experiments next to the pressure chamber. The basin can be used if a maximum water depth of 1 meter is required, as it allows the electrodes and samples to be changed quickly and easily.

The guide machines can be moved in three directions, with a movement speed of 0 to 1.2 m/min. The Z-axis is controlled by the voltage of the arc, which has previously been set on a second controller.
