Vacuum-assisted High-pressure Die Casting

On the high-pressure die casting machine, the IW is researching process development for the production of material composites made of light metals and steel or copper. In addition, a process for the in situ coating of die cast components has been developed in the form of transplant coating. With the aid of vacuum-assisted casting, low-porosity die cast components can be produced, which can be heat-treated and welded.
